An exciting adventure around Dublin City brings new heights to well-known sights.
WHAT DO PARENTS NEED TO KNOW?
The President's Glasses is an exciting adventure around Dublin City. It visits well-known sights such as Trinity College and St. Stephen's Green and is accompanied by beautiful illustrations.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
This book follows the journey of Irish President Michael D Higgins and some very important documents that he has to sign. However, he has left the house without his glasses and he can't sign important documents without his glasses. Let's join the president's pigeon as he travels around the sights of Dublin City in search of the president to give him back his glasses.
WHAT DO WE SAY?
We really enjoyed reading this book with our kids. It's a great length, not too text-heavy and the illustrations are beautiful. We loved exploring the cultural elements of Dublin and acquainting our children with the president. It is action packed but full of learning and fun.
WHAT DO KIDS SAY?
The pigeon is really funny and I think it's a bit weird that the president was silly and forgot his glasses but it's good that he got to sign his important letter.
