Should chocolate be stored in the cupboard or fridge? Today, we finally know the answer.
This is a question that has plagued families everywhere for as long as we can remember. Whether you're a purple Snack lover or a Cadbury's Fruit and Nut devotee, are you even a chocolate fan if you haven't participated in the "fridge or cupboard" debate at some stage?
Well today, we finally have the answer. If you're a firm believer that chocolate is a dish best served cold, we hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Cadbury's have confirmed that chocolate should be stored in the cupboard.
According to FM104, the debate began when one Twitter user, Bruno Bouchet shared his list of items that should be kept in the pantry and fridge. The list was a controversial one in itself but some people were particularly surprised by where Bruno had placed chocolate on the list.

Needless to say, a massive debate ensued which inspired Bruno to end the Twitter storm by calling in the only people who could know the answer. He tagged Cadbury's Australian Twitter account to ask them to settle this once and for all.
To many user's surprise, they replied with,
"Chocolate should always be stored in a slightly cool, dry, dark place such as cupboard or pantry at temperatures less than 21°C to ensure the quality isn't compromised."
