How did we not think of this sooner? This wrapping paper hack is a gamechanger.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that there are two types of people in the world - those who love wrapping gifts and those who dread it every year.
At a time when people are encouraged to be much more environmentally conscious than ever before, many have turned to wrapping paper alternatives that can be more easily recycled and/or reused.
However, using recyclable paper doesn't save us from being wasteful completely - when wrapping presents, we are still posed with the problem of not cutting enough wrapping paper to cover the gift in its entirety.
I.e, arguable the most infuriating part of wrapping gifts.
BUT this genius wrapping paper hack may have just saved the day.
The secret is simple - if your wrapping paper doesn't cover the gift completely, simply turn it diagonally while keeping the paper in the same position.
It really is that simple.
Then, you can pull two corners across the gift causing them to meet in the middle. After that, simply pull the other corners across and tape it up.
Our lives will truly never be the same again.
Not only does this hack make wrapping presents a touch less challenging, but it also helps the environment by causing us to be less wasteful.
