Sims IVF Group is offering couples a refund if they don't have a baby at one of their three clinics.

Sims IVF Group is promising to take the financial burden out of IVF by offering couples a refund if they don't have a baby at one of their three clinics.
With clinics located in both Dublin and Cork, Sims has launched a new innovative Access Fertility programme offering a 100% refund making private fertility treatment more accessible for couples.
At present many couples in Ireland risk spending their life savings without any guarantees.
According to their website, there are different levels of refunds available from 50%, 70% and 100% money back terms and this determines the fee which is paid prior to treatment.
The full refund programme is currently available to women up to the age of 37 who are using their own eggs. It also includes unlimited frozen embryo transfers and up to three fresh embryo cycles of IVF.

Women aged 37 to 40 can apply for the 50% refund option.
The clinic says on average 28 per cent of patients at their clinics have a baby after one attempt of standard IVF.
Ash Carrol-Miller, CEO and founder of Access Fertility told the Irish Independent: "We wanted to help patients to access the amount of treatment they need by lowering the financial risk associated with IVF."
"We offer patients a greater variety of choice when it comes to starting IVF. Our patients like the certainty that comes with our refund programmes."
"Our programmes remove the huge financial uncertainty that can turn IVF into a high-risk choice."
"Our patients can start treatment safe in the knowledge they will either have a baby or get their fee refunded."
"They will not end up in a situation where they have spent their life savings on unsuccessful treatment."
In the UK, more than 1500 babies have been born on Access Fertility programmes and roughly €5 million has been refunded to unsuccessful patients since launching.
Sims IVF Clinics are located in Clonskeagh in Dublin, Mahon in Cork and at the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin.
