These exciting children's and family titles will be sure to keep everyone entertained (for a couple of hours at least!).
The February Midterm Break is here already, and with the weather being the way that it is (Ireland is currently living up to its four seasons in the one day stereotype), chances are that you might not want to venture outdoors for too long.
So, if you've to wait out the various storms at home, this means you'll need something to keep the kids entertained. If you've already exhausted all of the board games and art supplies, here are some movies and TV shows suggestions if you have a streaming account or you fancy a family trip to the cinema.
'Sing 2' | In Cinemas
The newest family release in cinemas is the sequel film 'Sing 2'. The exciting musical sees the can-do koala Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) and his cast of animal performers prepare for another dazzling stage extravaganza but there's just one hitch - they have to find the world's most reclusive rock star and get them to join them in on the spectacle (who is voiced by U2's Bono).
'The Cuphead Show!' | Netflix
While you might not be familiar with 'The Cuphead Show!', you might find that one or more of your children has played the video game on which it is based. Suitable for all ages, the new Netflix series features a vast array of delightful characters all going about their silly and zany activities.
'Uncharted' | In Cinemas
Another entry on our February Midterm Break movie and TV show list that's inspired by a video game is this new cinematic experience. 'Uncharted' stars Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland, in the lead role as Nathan Drake, who has a fondness for fortune and missing treasure. Imagine Indiana Jones mixed with Lara Croft, and that's just what you'll get here.
'The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder' | Disney+ (From Feb 23)
A continuation of the acclaimed series from the early 2000s, 'The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder' on Disney+ brings the dysfunctional family onto the screens for a new generation of viewers. The animated series follows the adventures and misadventures of newly 14-year-old Penny Proud, all told with lots of laughs and plenty of heart.
'Gabby's Dollhouse' Season Four | Netflix
One for the younger members of the household is the season four return of 'Gabby's Dollhouse' on Netflix. This season there will be new lessons to learn, new surprises to discover, all with the same adorable kitties. Gabby leads the way with Pandy, CatRat, Cakey, Baby Box and other beloved pals.
'Space Jam: A New Legacy' | Sky & NOW Cinema
In case you missed this release last year, the 'Space Jam' sequel adventure is now available to stream for Sky and NOW customers. Starring basketball superstar LeBron James, he must team up with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and the rest of the motley crew of Looney Tunes for a high-stakes basketball game against the big baddies, The Goon Squad.
'Hotel Transylvania 4: Trandformania' | Prime Video
If you haven't already watched the film 10 times since its release in January, 'Hotel Transylvania 4' is ready and waiting for you to watch on Amazon Prime Video. The hilarious sequel sees Van Helsing's mysterious new invention transform the beloved family into humans - but they'll need to be quick before their transformations become permanent.
