Twinkl.ie are offering all parents and teachers a free ultimate membership to their site, allowing parents to download free resources for their kids to do at home.

With the recent news of school closures all over the country, most parents are understandably concerned about a whole host of things. Aside from the obvious worries about safety and the reality of trying to work from home with the kids, a lot of parents are worried about keeping their kids occupied at home without letting them fall behind in school.

However, it can be hard to know where to start with at-home learning without the experience and resources available to teachers.

Twinkl.ie, a website which provides resources for parents and teachers with kids from junior infants to sixth class, decided to help. They are offering a free month's subscription to parents so that they can download and print out interesting activities and resources for their children to do at home, free of charge. All you need to do is go to www.twinkl.i/offer and enter the code IRLTWINKLHELPS.

Jonathan Seaton, CEO of Twinkl, gave this statement:

"In light of recent developments in relation to Covid-19, we here at Twinkl want to support all pupils, parents and teachers.

We are offering all parents and teachers a One Month FREE Ultimate Membership to Twinkl.ie. This will allow parents and teachers unlimited access to every single resource for every single curriculum subject from junior infants to sixth class."

The resources cover everything from Gaeilge and Aister to STEM and Phonics, meaning your kids can do a little bit every day to keep up with their learning, and you will have the knowledge to help them with any work they may have been given by their teachers.

In the midst of a very uncertain time, it is fantastic to see a company offer help and support to families who are worried about their children missing so much school.
