If the thoughts of having Christmas 2020 without a visit to the man in the big red suit doesn't sound too appealing - there's one place you will be able to visit with plenty of peace of mind.
The Airfield Estate in Dundrum is offering families the opportunity to visit Santa this Christmas, and it sounds like a totally magical experience. Here's how each family's visit will look like.
Set in the wonderous surrounds of Airfield House, visitors will be greeted on arrival by Santa’s chief elf and savour some homemade Christmas fudge, before making their way up the sparkling Yew walk.
There, your small ones will be able to post their pre-written letters to Santa before making their way to capture a super special momento photo on Santa's sleigh.
Santa's elves will be on hand to give out goodie bags while you drop by their kitchen to sample some delicious hot chocolate and some mulled wine. From there, you can take a peek into Santa’s cottage and take in the festive surrounds.
Then it’s time for the main event, as you catch a glimpse of reindeer flying by, before visiting Santa in all of his jolly glory, who will gift each child with their own special present. Magical.
The dates available for booking your special Santa visit will be from November 21 right up until December 23, and each booking can cater for a family group of up to six people. For a list of the Airfield Estate's COVID guidelines, you can find out more here.
