A British woman has hailed a high street baby cream costing less than a fiver a miracle moisturiser for clearing up her psoriasis.
In a post on her Facebook page, Laura Atkins said the baby moisturiser had got rid of the skin condition on her arms, neck and chest.
Laura said she suffered from the common condition for years and that only over the counter lotions, such as hydrocortisone, would help ease the pain.
However, her mother recommended the pocket-friendly moisturiser which apparently cleared up her skin within a day.
On Facebook, Laura wrote: "Needed to share this with you all. I suffer from psoriasis, have done for years. I get it all up my arms, neck and chest and up until yesterday only hydrocortisone cream would get rid of it but it’s really harsh and only pharmacists can give you it."
"Yesterday my Mam told me to try this baby moisturiser; I’m not joking 24 hours later my psoriasis is gone!"
"Anyone suffering with psoriasis or eczema you need to try this!"
Proving popular amongst social media users the viral post shared last year has received more than 18,000 likes and 64,000 shares.
One user said: "All I can say is I am going to have another good night's sleep. No more burning, itchy legs. After years of doctors prescribing creams that never helped me, after seeing Laura Atkins' message, I thought I would give this cream a go, and it worked for me."
While another commented: "I would like to say thank you. Today I have tried this baby cream, mine was for a nettle rash feeling under the skin - the doctor gave me loads of creams to get rid of it but none of them worked. After using this cream for one week my legs are rash free and as smooth as baby’s bottom. Thanks for sharing this cream with me, no more itching and scratching anymore. I can now have a good night sleep."
