Why do they happen every time!
- You’ll vow not to let your toddler out of the pushchair, and then you do and instantly regret it as they shoot off like a cannon ball.
- They’ll have a dirty nappy within 5 minutes of you arriving – is it the excitement??
- They’ll be instantly attracted to the most expensive thing in the store and will scream like you’re torturing them when you say no.
- You’ll wonder why you picked up a trolley; it automatically makes you feel that you need something big to fill it.
- You’ll count how many months it is until Christmas and decide that it makes sense if you start the present shopping early.
- You’ll reminisce about the toys that you had as a child.
- You’ll drag them to the educational section and worry why they have no interest.
- You’ll be conned into buying batteries even though you’ve got tonnes at home.
- You’ll buy something that’s on special offer regardless of whether it’s suitable for your child – you’re making a saving so why not!
- Whatever age your child is you’ll wish they were slightly older so they can make use of the toys for the next stage.
- You’ll ask a member of staff where something is then get embarrassed when they point out that it’s right behind you.
- You’ll decide that next time you need something the children are staying at home!
