If there is one piece of advice I would give to any parent, especially of daughters, it would be to teach them a good and thorough skincare regime.

Good skin care habits really start from an early age and are a great habit to get your children into. Remember your skin is an organ too and it should be taken care of.
Here are some top tips to teach your little ones about skin care right from the start-
NEVER use make-up wipes
The cardinal rule of good skin care. No matter how tired or tempted you are, never use a make-up wipe. Don’t even have them in the house. If all else fails, use water and a facecloth to take your make up off but NEVER a make-up wipe. If you aren’t in the habit of using them, your daughter won’t be either!
Use any downtime to do a skin treatment
Use any “chill time” to do a face treatment. Have some masks ready in your bathroom in case the opportunity presents itself without notice. Or better yet make your own home-made face mask. Another great habit to teach your daughter. This is also a perfect way to have some mother-daughter time. Two birds….
Practice a facial massage to fight wrinkles
Many people (myself included) frown and scrunch their faces, leading to frown lines and crow’s feet. To relax my face, I do facial acupressure for a few minutes at bedtime. Press above your inner eyebrows, temples, and next to your nostrils, holding for 10 seconds each. It’s very simple and a habit you can easily teach your daughter from an early age!
Hydrate your skin from the inside out—and outside in
Despite what you hear all the time, the amount of water you drink daily doesn't translate into proper skin hydration. It's vital to hydrate your skin from the outside in with serums, creams, and hydrating mists. Get yourself a few small facial mists and have one in the car, one in your handbag. Let your daughter get in on the action too and show her how to do it!
Avoid hot showers
As amazing as it feels to get into a hot shower, hot water can be EXTREMELY drying for the skin. Never ever wash your face with hot water either, always use tepid water.
Apply sunscreen to your neck, chest, and hands first
Apply sunscreen to the neck, chest, and hands before the face–these areas age faster and are harder to improve than the face. We often forget to apply sunscreen there even though they're exposed as much as the face.
Let your lips guide your skincare routine
One great tip to know when your skin is ready for some serious hydration-Your lips feel dry first, so you know the humidity has dropped, and it's time for more moisture.
