Treasure Hunt & Family Fun Run -  September 9th
In aid of the Holy Angels Day Care Centre, a family fun run and a treasure hunt will take place this weekend in Rathwood. Tickets for adults cost €10, while children are charged at €5. All proceed will go towards refurbishing the rehabilitation facilities. Kids can hop on board the Rathwood Express Train, take part in the run with hidden surprises along the way, and visit the maze, finishing up at a fun-filled festival area. It’s going to be a fun day out for a great cause.
Festival of Food, Airfield Estate - September 8th & 9th
The Festival of Food will take place in Dublin's only urban farm. It will expand its food village and natural beauty area with food demonstrations, live music, a gardening zone, family foraging and craft brewery just to name a few. Doors open at 9.30am and entry is free to all this weekend.
National Sea Life Centre, Wicklow
Located on the Bray seafront, dive into the deep depths of the ocean with Lego Ocean Explorers. Help a LEGO deep sea diver track down his missing equipment, discover curious creatures and delve into the brick pits set up for this once off fabulous event. Children will get an opportunity to complete a challenge to become a certified SEA LIFE Junior Diver each receiving their own LEGO diver mini-figure to take home. It’s an awesome way to finish off a fabulous summer with a fun and educational experience perfect for the whole family.
Moscow State Circus, Dublin - September 6th - 16th
Enjoy a vibrant experience this weekend at the Moscow State Circus which has set up at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. Perfect for all ages with spectacular acts during a two-hour magical show. It is not to be missed this month. 
Waterford Harvest Festival - September 7th - 9th
A family-fun festival and food-filled weekend showcasing some of the region’s best food producers with an action pack line up of activities for all ages. Eat your way through the festival markets, dance your way around the music stage or be inspired at the Historic Tales exhibition taken place Saturday filled local students colourful artwork.
Ultimate Predators: Lions Versus Tigers, Natural History Museum - September 8th
This Saturday the Natural History Museum is perfect for animal lovers. Drop by the Discovery Zone to compare skulls and investigate who would win in battle. Admission is free and no booking is required.
