A must-see for all of the family, if you get to squeeze in a quick hour and a half at the cinema this summer you will not be disappointed in seeing Woody, Buzz, and Bo Peep all back together again.
Let's face it - who's more excited to see this in the cinema, you or your kids? You'll be happy to know that your favourite animated toys are back for a summer blockbuster that is just as good as everything that has come before. As you'll know by now, a compelling and relatable story has been the crux to every 'Toy Story' movie previously, and number four is no different.
Our main man Woody, like anyone reading this will undoubtedly relate to, begins to have doubts about what his purpose in this world is. He meets Bonnie's new hilarious self-deprecating creation Forky, a plastic spork with some pipe cleaners and googly eyes, and the two set off on an adventure of sorts, crossing paths along the way with a new and much-improved Bo Peep. On their journey, the group make us relate to toys in a way that we never thought was possible (yet again).
Of course, Buzz gets a slice of the action too, and encounters two of the more comedy-focused new characters of 'Toy Story 4'; they come in the form of Jordan Peele and Keegan Michael-Key voicing plush-toys Bunny and Ducky - and they are hilarious. We also come across the slightly menacing Gabby Gabby (voiced by Christina Hendricks) and her two creepy bodyguard mutes, The Bensons, who play the antagonists this time around.
As this is a 'Toy Story' and Pixar film, you know exactly what you're getting before heading into the cinema to see this. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll feel bad for all of those old broken and cast-away toys you gave up all those years ago. Having said that, we already can't wait to add this to our 'Toy Story' collections at home.
