Ryan Tubridy has just announced an earlier than usual call out for toy testers and performers ahead of this year's much anticipated Late Late Toy Show.
With plans in place for a bigger and better show than previous years, RTE is already on the hunt for children across the country to help create an extra special toy show filled with magic.
The show, which is an annual TV highlight for both parents and their children is still going ahead late November but will most probably need to adopt lots of new measures, and of course, it will look very different due to the ongoing pandemic.
Earlier this week, Ryan told listeners of his RTÉ Radio 1 show that they want “as many applications in as possible”.
“Normally we open the floodgates in September, but we are opening the floodgates now,” he said.
“If you want to be on the Toy Show, if you are a child and you think ‘I can sing, I can dance, I can do mimicry, I can do magic, I am the chosen one in the entertainment world,’ get in touch.”
“You don’t have to be an extrovert, you don’t have to be beautiful, well, you have to be beautiful inside. You can be introverted, extroverted, upstairs, downstairs, inside, outside, it doesn’t matter, all you have to do is be a child.”
“Before you know it, you can be talking to our elves, and you could be on The Late Late Toy Show,” he continued.
The application process is very straightforward, and anyone can apply so if you want to make your little one’s dreams come true, simply record a short video of your them auditioning or doing a toy demonstration and fill in the application form.
