The House of Mouse is celebrating the company's 40-year partnership with Make-A-Wish foundation.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! And after seeing this new Disney Christmas ad, we officially have all of the feels for the festive season.
Launching today is Disney’s winter retail campaign for 2020, ‘From Our Family To Yours’. Their brand new three-minute animation is wonderful, and it marks their 40-year partnership with the children’s charity.
Because of the year we've all had, this short animation will certainly strike a chord with many of us.
The heart-warming storyline of the advert is inspired by the themes of family traditions, nostalgia, and togetherness; moments we all go through at this time of the year. Introducing us to two new characters, grandmother Lola and her granddaughter, the animation features a familiar Mickey Mouse toy from when Lola was a little girl.
As part of the Disney Christmas ad, fans will be able to purchase this limited-edition vintage Mickey Mouse soft toy too. Make-A-Wish will be benefiting from sales.
For every Mickey sold, Disney Store will donate 25% of the retail price to Make-A-Wish organisations to help grant wishes for children. Be sure to head to The Disney Store to contribute to the cause.
There's also another way you and your family can get involved in this wondrous campaign. Disney is encouraging fans to head to either Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and share their own past and present festive memories on social media. By using #LoveFromDisney, Disney will donate $1USD for each special memory shared.
Not only that, but a charity single has also been released today. UK artist Griff performs Love Is A Compass during the special animation. And for every download made before December 31, all of the proceeds will be donated to Make-A-Wish.
