The series is set to return in a week's time - and we can't wait to see what these 12 contestants have in store for us.
With less than a week to go until the eleventh series of our favourite baking show returns to our screens, Channel 4 has revealed the lineup for who will be keeping us on the edge of our seats from their new tent this year. Here's a look at the 'Great British Bake Off' contestants for 2020.
Taking to Twitter to share the exciting news, the official Twitter account for 'Bake Off' gifted viewers a sneak peek at the 12 new contestants. We'll admit that when we heard the 'Bake Off' music playing alongside the video below, we got goosebumps in anticipation for what's to come.
As you can see, the fresh batch of 'Great British Bake Off' contestants vary in age and diversity, which is always incredible to see. People from all walks of life are once again coming together to attempt Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith's latest savage Technical Challenge, as well as impress us all with their Showstopper each week. We can't wait to see what goes down over the coming weeks.
This year's 'Bake Off' has changed up their lineup ever-so-slightly, with 'Little Britain' comedian Matt Lucas joining Noel Fielding as the series' co-hosts. Lucas was added into the mix following Sandi Toksvig leaving the TV show after three seasons. The series also filmed under strict COVID-19 guidelines during the summer, with health and safety measures remaining in place for the duration of filming.
Be sure to tune into 'Bake Off' when the series starts back up again on TV screens next Tuesday, September 22 on Channel 4.
