Don't miss your chance to apply for this year's Toy Show virtual audience tickets.
It's been a year like no other, and while there may be a doom and gloom hanging over our heads right now, there is so much to look forward to in the coming weeks. And The Late Late Toy Show is one of them. It is the most anticipated show of the year, after all.
It goes without saying, The Late Late Toy Show is going to look very different this year following public health advice. Due to social distancing guidelines, there will be no studio audience at the much-loved Christmas show. A virtual audience will be used instead.
That's right, and the Toy Show is now looking for families to take part remotely from the comfort of their homes. To be in with a chance of being chosen, all you have to do is fill in a short application form.
RTE plan on beaming individuals and families onto the set of the iconic show next month and the closing date to apply is fast approaching.
This year's theme has yet to be announced, however host Ryan Tubridy has promised something extra special. The show is set to take place in five weeks on Friday, November 27.
Tubridy has been dropping hints about this year's theme on his Instagram and during his slot on his RTE Radio 1 show. While he's not giving anything away, many believe this year's show will be based on Wizard of Oz. Other guesses include Peter Pan and Minions from the Despicable Me franchise.
The closing date for applications for the virtual Toy Show audience is this Friday, October 23. If you and your family want a chance of winning a golden ticket and to be part of the magic don't leave it too late.
As part of the application, you will be asked to tell RTE why you want to join them. They also ask you your one Christmas wish. You must confirm you have access to broadband and a smartphone with a high-quality camera too.
