Hopefully, the weather will hold out this weekend, meaning we can soak up more sun and enjoy our outdoor picnics.
Should the rain hit, it's good to know that the option of having some quality indoor family time can be achieved in front of the TV this bank holiday weekend.
Here's a selection of the latest - and some classics - that have recently been added to Netflix and Disney+.
The Mitchells Vs. The Machines (Netflix)
We've already seen The Mitchells Vs. The Machines, and believe us when we say this - it's an absolute riot of a movie. The storyline follows a family who decides to journey cross-country in order to drop their eldest child to her first day at college. However, everything gets thrown out of the car window when robots begin to take over the world. Hilarious, heartfelt, and with gorgeous animation, this is one of the best animations you will see this year.
Raven's Home (Disney+)
That's So Raven was an early 2000s TV show staple in many houses, and in case you didn't know, this is the official sequel series. Starring Raven-Symoné, the series Disney comedy follows the various capers that happen in her household, all while she is able to see brief snippets of the future. Catch up o all of the episodes before season four arrives on Disney+ on May 21.
School of Rock (Netflix)
One of our all-time favourite Jack Black movies has to be School of Rock - and it's heading to Netflix this Saturday! With a fantastic diverse cast hilarious comedy moments and an upbeat soundtrack that we can all sing along to, it makes for perfect viewing this weekend (no matter how many times you've watched it!)
Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children (Disney+)
A movie for the 12+ aged members of your household is this lovely coming-of-age story. The fantasy adventure is all about a secret world where children have incredible, yet unusual, powers. Based on the novel by Ransom Riggs, and brought to the screen by Tim Burton, why not get lost in this charming and spooky title.
Pet Stars (Netflix)
A brand new addition to Netflix that you can be sure the whole household will roll around laughing to, is Pet Stars. A reality TV show with a difference, this is a series which follows the hard work of various animals and pets who live the high life. Yep, you guessed it, these doggie divas are the stars of the show, and we get to join them on an insight into the world of being a Pet Star.
Dinosaurs (Disney+)
Remember Dinosaurs? Of course you do! Now it's time to introduce your little ones to one of your favourites from the early '90s. The Sinclairs are just your average family - except they just so happen to be walking, talking, and utterly comical dinosaurs. All four seasons of the hit family comedy series are available to watch on Disney+ right now.
Shrek The Musical (Netflix)
Finally, we feel like a musical is in order for the weekend ahead, and what could be better than one about an ogre who lives in a swamp (and his annoying and hysterical noble steed)? If you can believe it, the first Shrek movie premiered in cinemas around the world 20 years ago. Chances are you might not have caught the stage version, and so it's available to watch on Netflix right now.
