The pop star shared the arrival of her second child on social media.
Popstar turned The Voice judge Paloma Faith's baby is here! She welcomed her second bundle of joy into the world on Saturday, revealing on her Instagram page: "Well I’m not pregnant anymore!"
This is 39-year-old Faith's second addition to her family. She is married to long-term partner Leyman Lahcine. The couple already has a daughter together, who was born in 2016.
The star admitted on her social media that she's in "a lot of pain" following her planned C-Section operation. She also documented all of the thoughts currently running through her mind after the new arrival at the weekend. Her honest post sees the star speak of sore nipples, losing blood, and the debate of "bottle vs breast".
She writes: "I had a planned c section yesterday I’m in a lot of pain and didn’t sleep last night but it’s worth it to see and meet the new little cherub I have in front of me.
"It’s been about 30 hours and already I’m exhausted, sore and my nipples are on fire with a baby piranha that wants to kill me.
"On them every few hours but I am of course elated! This baby couldn’t be more loved or wanted if she tried (yes I have two gals). I’m now going through the constant worry of bottle vs breast, last time I breast fed exclusively and I think it was too hard!
"I don’t know if I wana put myself through that this time..... but I’m trying anyway. And my nipples are on fire. Lost a litre of blood and I’m in so much pain despite the pain killers. The joys!"
Like many women out there, Paloma Faith's baby struggle has seen her go down many difficult roads, finally culminating in this fantastic news. In 2019 she suffered a miscarriage, and she also admitted to struggling with IVF treatment in the past.
