Even the most minimalist of make-up wearers can embrace the fun and flair that party season offers (though we thoroughly approve such looks all year-round).

It’s a time to take risks with colour and texture, go all-out with sparkle. It’s also a time when lack of sleep and a less-than-healthy diet means you need a little more help than usual from quick-fix skincare and complexion concealers.
BRIGHT EYES
If you’re not a fan of heavy eye make-up, dot soft gold shadow over the centre of a smokey brown eye for an instant brightening effect. Keep everything else very neutral for a classic and festive look.
FESTIVE GLITTER
Metallic eyeshadow is big news this season and we love it. Compliment it with a feminine flick and berry lip, the overall effect is soft and charming. If you’re worried about wearing glitter, incorporating a small amount just under the eyes might be for you.
SMOKEY EYE
We love the intensity of a smokey black eye. Just be sure to keep lips nude!
A TAN
Not only does a tan make us look ten times healthier it also makes us FEEL ten times better and sexier. If you want to save a bit of cash buy a bottle of tan in any chemist or even Penneys and a mitt and you're half-way there. Or, treat yourself to a spray tan. You can thank us later!
RED LIP
It’s a party classic, so of course, it’s one of the go-to looks for this season. If you want to go for a bold red or even darker, just remember to load up with layers of lip balm first, otherwise, the result will look flaky and dry. Start in the morning and keep applying all day if you’re wearing a dark lip in the evening. Finish it off with a sweep of mascara and you’re good to go!
WINGED LINER
Give your winged liner gets a party twist with bold Christmas season tones like emerald, scarlet, and teal.
PRETTY IN PINK
Take a classic smoky eye, give it a heavy dose of pink sparkle, and you’ve got one seriously pretty party look. If this seems a little too daunting, try just pressing in a hint of glitter to the centre of the lids and add layers of mascara for a softer version.
