This is help to alleviate impulse buying and may even keep you within your budget. Also making a list of the shops that you need to visit so that it will help keep you focused. Prioritise the shops that you need to go to first.

Visit websites before your shopping trip to find out what offers they are doing. Compare prices between different shops on line to make sure that you are definitely getting the best deal.
Know Your Sizes
Winter clothes is often marked down after Christmas. Bring along a list of the sizes you need if you are buying for others. Alternatively you can bring a small item of clothing in that size as you don’t want to have to return wrong sizes.
Be prepared:
Dress in comfortable clothes in layers so that you can take off a layer if you are too hot. Wear flat comfortable shoes that are easy to take on and off. Also wear a tight fitting top so that you can pop on jumpers, jackets in the shop and avoid queueing for the dressing room. It is a good idea to bring a drink and a snack so that you don’t have to waste time queueing for refreshments.

It can be a good idea to bring someone who has similar taste to you to get a second opinion. They can also help to change a size for you while you are in the changing room.
