Adorable Gender Reveal Ideas

Technology has given parents so many new opportunities and experiences.

Technology has given parents so many new opportunities and experiences.
One of which relates to gender reveal. Naturally there is no guarantee that the gender reveal from a scan will always be correct but in general it's giving a lot of parents a pretty good indicator as to whether a little boy or little girl is about to come in to their lives.
People enjoy sharing their news with friends and family in a variety of ways. Here are some of the loveliest examples that we came across...
  • At a gender reveal party guests were asked to choose a peg from a basket and wear it for the evening. Those who wore pink pegs were guessing that the baby would be a girl and those who wore blue guessed it was a boy. What a lovely visual way to include everyone in the reveal experience.
  • A Piñata game was enjoyed by all of the children and adults of the family. The winner would eventually reveal a particular coloured candy to reveal the baby's gender.
  • In a Facebook Video reveal one family encouraged their toddler boy to shoot them with a water gun. They both wore white t-shirts & the water was bright pink to symbolise and reveal that a baby sister was on the way.
  • A Cake displayed the word “it's a” but cutting a slice would be the only way to reveal the colour of the butter cream and indeed gender. Cute!
  • Nobody but the couples doctor knew the gender of the baby. So they asked him to write them a Christmas card that they could open together on Christmas morning.
  • The couple stand side by side while someone holds a cardboard box above their heads. On the count of three the box is opened and a stream of balloons emerge. The balloons are blue or pink and it makes for a beautiful photo when you can see the moment the couple see the colour for the first time.
  • Putting a new collar on the family dog and it's a certain colour. He's pottering around all night and nobody knows what it represents, until you tell them! Simple and lovely.
  • A brand of bath bombs have came up with a bomb that remains white until submerged in water. It then reveals a colour in a beautiful way.
