'Two By Two: Overboard' is headed to our cinema screens this October.
Upcoming animated sequel 'Two by Two: Overboard!' is definitely worth a family trip to the cinema. Not only because it's a gorgeous, fun-filled adventure but also because it's an Irish led co-production.
A sequel to 2015 hit 'Two By Two – Ooops! The Ark Has Gone', this animated flick is co-produced by Moetion Films, which is headed up by Irish producer Moe Honan. As well as that, it features a voice cast that includes Tara Flynn and Alan Stanford and is directed by Toby Genkel and Sean McCormack with a script written by Richie Conroy and Mark Hodkinson.
The first 'Two by Two' movie in 2015 proved a huge hit and was the highest-grossing Irish film at the Irish box office that year. It followed the story of what happened to the creatures that missed Noah’s ark.
This time around, Noah's ark drifts on the open seas, with best friends Finny and Leah on board. But, after weeks with no land in sight, and with food stocks running low, the fragile peace between carnivores and herbivores could break at any second.
After a series of unfortunate events, Finny and Leah find themselves inadvertently washed overboard – along with the last of the food supplies! Leah and fellow castaway, their new friend Jelly, are marooned on a remote island. While Finny wakes in a strange colony filled with oddly familiar creatures living in harmony – except they are under the threat of a somewhat menacing volcano.
In a race against time, tide and terrifying tremors, Finny must rescue his friends, reunite with his family and save a whole colony from total destruction.
Not a bother to him.
